Long-Run Fireworks NightsThe fireworks display has been running for 27 years. For about 20mins each evening starting at 8:45, fireworks light up the evening skies. As the fireworks are launched from a moving boat, the fireworks can be seen from all around the lake.

Toyako Onsen Summer FestivalFeaturing the traditional Japanese Bon festival dance, the Toyako Onsen Summer Festival, now in its 3rd year is a lively event with food stalls and live music. Rental yukata (simple summer kimono) are available from participating hotels. (Rental fees differ. Please contact the hotels directly for more information.)

A two-day walking event that takes participants on a gentle walk through Lake Toya's beautiful countryside. There are plenty of discoveries to be made on the way and a refreshing dip in an onsen awaits you at the end of a long day.
